Montgomery County Search and Rescue Team Fundraiser

The 25th annual fundraiser has come and gone.  We are very fortunate to have had a great event with over 200 in attendance who gave generously to help us raise over $16,000.  While this was well below our goal of $25,000 we are very thankful for all who gave of their time and donated so generously in such difficult times.

I would like to extend a special thank you to all the organizations that were present to help educate amd entertain our members and guests ~ Texas Parks and Wildlife with their Operation Game Thief exhibt manned by Game Warden Alan Biggerstaff; Crimestoppers Booth manned by Dep John Niquette; the Auto Theft Task Force staffed by Lt. David Moore and The Sheriff's Citizens Academy Alumni Association represented by Mike Manning the organizations Vice President as well as several other members.

A big thank you goes out to Tim Duckworth the owner of Fun Jumps who donated the use of 2 bounce houses for use by younger members and guests.  They were a great hit and we are sure to ask him back again next year.
